Seeking Shelter

If you or someone you know is seeking shelter, the guidelines shown below were established to determine eligibility into the Family Bridge program.

All potential participants must be able to provide proof of the following requirements to apply.

1. Participants seeking shelter must consist of a family, with children.

2. The family must not be escaping a domestic violence situation.

For domestic violence situation assistance, please contact one of the below agencies:

Bradley-Angle House(503) 281-2442
Raphael House(503) 222-6222
Monika's House(503) 469-8620

3. No violence, abuse, or harassment is permitted.  Please let us know if you would like information and referral information about domestic violence shelter programs.

4. The program requires that every member of the family be clean and sober to be considered for entry into the Family Bridge program.

5. Every member of the family who is 13 years of age or older is required to take and pass a urine analysis for detection of illegal substances.

6. Every member of the family must take a TB test and provide proof of negative TB results.

If you or someone you know is seeking shelter and can meet all of the above program requirements, they may contact us at (503) 640-3263 and be placed on the Family Bridge program waiting list, as well as two other family shelters also located in Washington County.

For all other resources, please call 211.
