Family
Bridge Program RequirementsThe
following is a sub set of program requirements established to help Family Bridge
participants and their families interact with other participants in peace and
harmony. It is our goal to make community living both comfortable and safe. A
complete set of participation rules and a contract overview between participants
and staff is available upon written request. Length
of StayThe
length of stay in the Family Bridge program is a maximum of six weeks. A single
extension of one week may be available, but only with a signed rental agreement
in hand. No other extensions will be made. Most families seeking housing are usually
able to secure it within a five week time frame. Shelter
SecurityPersons
fleeing domestic violence situations must turn to shelters with undisclosed locations
to protect people's safety. Program
RequirementsAll
adults are required to actively partake in case management plans that focus on
securing income and housing. Medications or treatment for mental illness must
be followed in order to satisfy case management plans. Children must be enrolled
in and attend public school or Head Start during their stay. Drug
ScreeningFamily
Bridge requires a drug screening test with clean results for all participants
13 years or older. If staff suspects drug use, participants must take a subsequent
test or they forfeit their right to participate in the program. General
Living Families
must be able to get along with others, including completing household chores and
attending weekly house meetings. GrievancesClick
